Red Sox Fans Can Celebrate Fenway Park’s 100th Anniversary by Personalizing a Brick to Be Placed Inside Stadium

Next season will mark the 100th anniversary of America’s Most Beloved Ballpark, the oldest operating major league facility in the United States, and now fans can leave their mark on Fenway Park — literally.

Starting Thursday, April 28, Red Sox fans will have the opportunity to buy a commemorative brick that will be placed inside Fenway Park as part of the 100th anniversary celebration in 2012.

The Fenway Park 100th Anniversary Brick Program is a unique opportunity for fans to have a brick with their own personalized message placed in the concourse area inside Gate B and Gate C.

The commemorative bricks are available in two sizes — 4″x8″ and 8″x8″ — and every brick purchase includes a replica brick and display case. The bricks are being sold for $250 and $475, respectively, plus applicable taxes and fees.

The commemorative brick program was introduced last week, and the announcement was made 99 years to the date of the first Major League baseball game played at Fenway Park, on April 20, 1912.

More information on the brick program is available online at and by phone at 1-855-RSBRICK. More information on the Fenway Park 100th Anniversary celebration is available at
