The Patriots may shock the NFL world on Thursday night.

For a team that has typically traded away their top picks for a package of second- and third-rounders, the Pats could be heading the opposite way this time around, reports The Boston Globe.

According to a Globe source, the Patriots have spoken to the Browns about obtaining their sixth overall pick. North Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn, Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones and LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson have been mentioned as possible targets for New England with the No. 6 pick.
