Pawtucket center fielder Ryan Kalish left Thursday's game against Syracuse with a left arm injury after making a diving catch.
Kalish, considered by many the top position prospect in the Red Sox organization, walked and scored in the bottom of the first inning, but was hurt on the first play of the second when he caught a Michael Aubrey liner.
The 23-year-old Kalish is hitting .236 (13-for-55) with seven RBIs for the PawSox, who have made no announcements on his condition as of yet. He hit .252 with four home runs and a team-high 10 stolen bases for Boston last season.
