San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum is known affectionately as "The Freak." That moniker comes partially from his herky-jerky, unconventional wind-up. It's a wind-up that has now been broken down like never before.
Lincecum, who has an endorsement deal with the enery drink Red Bull, had his unusual wind-up captured by slow-motion camera at 1,000 frames per second during spring training, and the company recently released it on its YouTube page.
Lincecum is one of the latest athletes to join a Red Bull roster of athletes that includes Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo.
