Troy Tulowitzki Ditches Katy Perry, Hopes Justin Bieber Fever Will Heat Up His Bat Troy Tulowitzki was in an 0-for-8 batting slump to start this season, and there was only one person who could be responsible for his batting woes: Katy Perry

The Colorado Rockies’ shortstop let fans choose his at-bat song prior to the start of the season, and Perry’s “Firework” won with 36 percent of the votes. When Perry’s song failed to produce results, though, Tulowitzki took it upon himself to change his tune, according to The Denver Post.

Who’s coming to the rescue?

Who else but the Biebs?

Tulo has Justin Bieber fever, and “Baby” will be ringing out of Coors Field’s speakers for the foreseeable future. On just his second at-bat to the young pop sensation’s music, Tulo belted a solo homer to left-center.

Last season, Miley Cyrus and “Party In The USA” helped Tulo to a .339 batting average at home, so perhaps the Biebs can lead him to a batting title this year.
