Vote: Who Should Be the Red Sox' No. 5 Starter? Here's a staggering stat line to wrap your head around: Since 2009, Red Sox hurler Daisuke Matsuzaka is 13-14 with a 5.24 ERA in 39 starts.

After helping the Sox hoist its second World Series trophy in four years by posting 15 wins in 2007, and topping that with an 18-3 record and 2.90 ERA in 2008, Dice-K has struggled mightily.

On Monday night at Fenway, the righty lasted just two innings and was pounded for seven earned runs on eight hits en route to his second loss in as many 2011 starts. But if his first two years proved anything, it's that Matsuzaka can be a vital member to a major league staff. Will he snap out of this funk and return to his 2007-08 form or do you want to see manager Terry Francona hand the ball over to someone else as the staff's anchor?
