Who Was the Amica Pitcher of the Week Against the Blue Jays and Athletics? The Red Sox finally seem to be on the right track after a rough start to 2011, and their success can be traced to some solid performances from the mound.

Four Red Sox starters earned wins last week, with three of them picking up their first W's of the season. But whose performance was the best during the week?

Josh Beckett kicked off the weekend with his second consecutive victory, leading the Sox to a 4-1 win over the Jays on April 16. The right-hander tossed seven solid innings in that outing, allowed just three hits and one earned run while striking out nine.

Jon Lester followed up that effort with a six-inning performance that anchored the Sox' 8-1 victory. The win was Lester's first of the year, as he allowed six hits and struck out five on the day.

Perhaps the most surprising outing of the week came on Patriots' Day, when Daisuke Matsuzaka led the Red Sox to a 9-1 win with his outstanding seven-inning outing. Matsuzaka allowed just one hit in that appearance, while striking out three.

Clay Buchholz also picked up his first win of the season during the week, helping the Sox to a rare win in Oakland on April 20. The righty tossed 5 1/3 innings against the Athletics, striking out two in the afternoon matchup.

Or was it someone from the bullpen? Daniel Bard and Jonathan Papelbon backed one another nicely on April 16 and 20, earning a hold and a save in each victory.

Who do you think deserves to be the Amica Pitcher of the Week?
