Will the Celtics Sweep the Knicks?

Will the Celtics Sweep the Knicks? Having narrowly escaped a pair of games that could have gone either way, the Celtics are in New York looking to take care of business against the Knicks. It wasn't pretty, and neither win was a sure thing until the final buzzer, but the C's have done what they needed to do and won on their home floor.

Will that streak of good fortune continue into the less-friendly confines of Madison Square Garden, or are the Celtics in for a rough stretch?

Winning at MSG can be tough, but the Celtics have fared rather well there lately. Since 2007, the C's are 6-2 in New York, with a 2-0 mark there this season.

Working in the Celtics' favor is the uncertain statuses of Amare Stoudemire and Chauncey Billups. Stoudemire appears to be a good strong possibility to return, while it looks like Billups will need more time out with his knee injury. Even if Stoudemire plays, his back spasms could act up at any moment.

Also working in their favor — maybe — is that Shaquille O'Neal just might play. Maybe. He flew with the team to New York, indicating he's at least progressing in a way that makes Doc Rivers and Co. believe he may be able to play soon. And while he may be a bit rusty, you saw in those five minutes back on April 3 that the veteran knows how to be effective.

So, what will it be? Will the C's come home Sunday night with the chance to rest up for round two, or will there still be work to be done at the Garden?
