MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks star Brandon Jennings is traveling to India later this month as part of an NBA initiative to boost basketball's popularity overseas.

Jennings, who played in Italy before being drafted by the Bucks, is the 16th NBA or WNBA player to travel to India in last three years according to the league. He'll attend a youth basketball skills challenge in Mumbai and conduct a clinic for participants.

Jennings says it's "amazing" to think that one of the kids he teaches in India could one day play in the NBA.
