Bruins Generating More Positive Buzz Across New England As They Head Deeper Into the NHL Playoffs

With so many successful sports teams in Boston, it's hard to be the most talked about team in town, but the Bruins have earned that honor as they continue their series against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The B's have been creating headlines throughout the postseason, from their thrilling overtime wins over Montreal to their impressive start against the Flyers.

Former Bruins center Derek Sanderson stopped in to talk with Tom Caron and Peter Gammons on Yawkey Way before throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park on Monday night, and said he's excited for the B's and their current run toward the Stanley Cup.

Sanderson believes goaltending will make a difference in this series, as Boston holds a clear edge with Vezina Trophy finalist Tim Thomas between the pipes.

To hear more from Sanderson on the series, and how the Bruins' success has impacted the growth of hockey in New England, check out the video above from Red Sox Gameday Live.
