Canucks Trying to Stay Sharp During Long Layoff Between Conference, Stanley Cup Final

The Vancouver Canucks won the Western Conference final on May 24, disposing of the San Jose Sharks in five games. On Wednesday, June 1, Vancouver will finally get back on the ice for real when the Stanley Cup Final begins against the Bruins.

The Canucks have had to find ways to keep sharp during what will end up being an eight-day layoff. On Monday, Vancouver took the ice for a spirited scrimmage, as well as getting in some special teams work.

NESN's Naoko Funayama was there, and you can see her report above in the video from NESN Daily.
