BOSTON – It’s all quiet on the Patrice Bergeron front.
The Bruins forward remains sidelined indefinitely after suffering a mild concussion in the third period of Game 4 against Philadelphia on Friday.
The Bruins did not practice on Wednesday, but coach Claude Julien and several players did meet with the media at TD Garden.
When asked for an update on Bergeron’s status, Julien offered little new information.
"I would say we are still on the same course as what it would normally be," Julien said. "I don't think there is any more that I could share with you today that is going to change what I shared with you yesterday."
Bergeron did make an appearance at the Garden on Tuesday, and Julien stated the center was "doing better" at that time as Bergeron proceeded through the league's post-concussion protocol.
The Bruins will return to the ice for practice on Thursday at the Garden, as they prepare for the Eastern Conference finals against Tampa Bay, which opens with Game 1 in Boston on Saturday. Bergeron is expected to miss at least the start of that series, and no timetable for his return has been set.
