Report: Derrick Rose Named NBA MVP, Becomes Youngest Winner in League History

Another member of the Chicago Bulls is picking up some regular-season hardware.

Bulls guard Derrick Rose was named the NBA Most Valuable Player and became the youngest player to ever win the award, according to ESPN.com.

The 22-year-old led the Bulls to an Eastern Conference-best 62-20 record and No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

The former No. 1 pick out of the University of Memphis also averaged 25 points, 7.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game in only his third season.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau was named the NBA Coach of the Year on Sunday.
