It's one of the biggest cliches in sports, and former Boston Bruins forward Steve Leach knows it. Yet he says it's essential for the Bruins to remain focused, play one game at a time and not get ahead of themselves.

Leach knows the magnitude of the games that the Bruins are about to play. He was a member of the B's in 1992, the last time they reached the Eastern Conference finals.

He caught up with Jade McCarthy on NESN Daily to share his experience, as well as give his outlook on the Bruins' current playoff run.

"You really take small, little steps in the Stanley Cup playoffs each and every game," Leach said. "And then you put that behind you, win or lose, and you start from scratch again."
