What are you up to on Monday night?

If you happen to be in the greater Yuma area, you’d be well served to head to Desert Sun Stadium for the Scorpions game. It’s going to be quite the spectacle.

Just days after Yuma Scorpions player-manager Jose Canseco professed his love for Lady Gaga and offered her a marriage proposal via Twitter, the North American League team has decided to host Lady Gaga Night on Monday, when the Scorpions host the Chico Outlaws, according to the club’s website.

Lady Gaga lookalikes will be admitted to the stadium free of charge, and the fan that the Cansecos (Ozzie is also on the team) deem the best-dressed Gaga impersonator will be invited to dinner with the Cansecos at the Cocopah Casino buffet.

“I’d like to invite Lady Gaga to attend the game so we can honor her as a wonderful artist and so I can meet her,” said Canseco. “Her music is inspiring, it is the truth, and I think she understands me.”

Gaga’s attendance at the game seems unlikely.

On the field, Jose is hitless thus far this season, while Ozzie has two hits in five at-bats.
