Maxi Rodriguez knows what's coming.

Liverpool's Argentine midfielder knows that despite his recent surge of four goals in the last two games, he will soon be bumped to a lesser role when summer signings and the currently injured Steven Gerrard reach Anfield.

"The manager knows I am ready whenever he wants me," Maxi told ESPN.com. "Whether I play or not does not matter. The team is the most important thing.

"I am really happy here at a great club," he added. "The type of life we have here, the way of life, is very different to what we were used to after nine years in Spain but I am enjoying everything."
