FOXBORO, Mass. — Robert Kraft won't join the small group of owners who are expected to be present for the court-mandated mediation sessions that resume Monday in Minnesota.
Four owners — Mike Brown (Bengals), John Mara (Giants), Jerry Richardson (Panthers) and Art Rooney (Steelers) — will be in attendance, according to the NFL Network, which also noted Kraft attended two of Judge Arthur Boylan's mediation sessions in April.
Kraft has been opposed to the court process because the players have the leverage through litigation.
He was asked Sunday if he thought the court-mandated mediation sessions were beneficial.
"I think that's the intent, but it's all about results," he responded.
Kraft said he'll attend future mediation sessions if NFL commissioner Roger Goodell asks him to be present.
"I'm going to let the commissioner speak to who is there," Kraft said. "I'd like to be there when we can try to do a deal. If they choose to have me there, I'm willing to do whatever the commissioner asks me to do to try to help in any way I can."
