Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett's day began Tuesday by trying to raise awareness for the tornado victims in Joplin, Mo. It has ended by him seeking cover for a separate set of tornados that have touched down in the Texas-Arkansas region.

It was unclear where Mallett was at the time, but he tweeted photos and videos of the events. Mallett grew up in Texarkana, Texas, and he played football at Arkansas. He also tweeted a weather report that focused on Dallas.

Mallett tweeted, "O dang it's coming right at us," as well as "Taking cover," and "Tornado sirens are going off."

Earlier Tuesday, Mallett Tweeted the Red Cross information to help raise money for the victims in Joplin. The tornado struck Sunday and has killed more than 100 people.
