If when the Vancouver Canucks take the ice on Wednesday night in the Stanley Cup Final (or at any point during the series) forward Manny Malhotra is with them, it's going to be a big deal. It will be a big deal to not only the Canucks as a team on the ice, but it should also be an added shot in the arm to the team and fans' morale.
The Vancouver Sun's Ian Walker spoke with Naoko Funayama on a special edition of Bruins Face-Off Live on Tuesday night, and Walker said that just having Maholtra on the ice a few months after suffering a serious eye injury would be inspiring for the team and its fan base.
