Ray Bourque Likes Bruins’ Chances in Stanley Cup Final, Says B’s Can Slow Strong Vancouver Offense

Ever since Ray Bourque came to Boston to begin his career in the NHL, he's felt a close connection to the city and its sports teams. So with the Stanley Cup Final coming back to Boston for the first time since he skated for the B's, the Hall of Fame defensman is excited about the team's success.

Bourque was a guest on Red Sox Gameday Live Presented by UNO on Tuesday night, and he talked with Tom Caron and Peter Gammons about how special it is to be a professional athlete in Boston, playing in front of passionate fans like those that follow the Bruins and the other teams in town.

He also took some time to break down the series, and he thinks that the Bruins' "stingy" defense can slow down what is a pretty high-powered Vancouver offense.
