Red Sox' Recent Homestand Filled With Delays, Ejections and Balks The Red Sox' longest homestand of the season is in the books, and it was a wild one. The Sox ended up going 6-5 in the 11 games, but the way in which they did so won't be forgotten for awhile.

There were ejections, balks, extra innings and rain delays — a lot of them.

"We saw everything in those 11 games," NESN's Tom Caron said.

Dennis Eckersley said it felt like he saw 3,000 pitches in Wednesday's game, which spilled into the wee hours of Thursday morning.

There were plenty of ups and downs, and Eckersley and Caron discussed the crazy 11-game stretch on Red Sox Gameday Live.
