In terms of Turkish internationals, it is most often Liverpool supporter Arda Turan who is linked to a move to Anfield.
He, though, isn’t the only one on the Liverpool radar, as the club is apparently interested in Bayern Munich’s Hamit Altintop.
The 28-year-old Altintop will be out of contract in the summer, and he’s been widely linked to a move to Real Madrid, which is set to acquire countryman Nuri Sahin this summer as well.
Liverpool, though, is apparently trying to convince the versatile midfielder, who can play on the right, as an attacker, or in a holding role, that he should come to England instead.
“Madrid is a dream, they are the highest, but still have not signed anything. The speculations are there, but now I have no contract with Real Madrid,” said Altintop.
“My future is out of Germany and hope to take a firm decision about my future next week.”
