Liverpool's pursuit of pacy Hamburg winger Eljero Elia is far from new news, but after failing to secure his services in the January window, Kenny Dalglish will apparently take a different approach this summer.
According to TalkSPORT, Liverpool's January bid for Elia took the form of a loan-buy option, which Hamburg was not interested in. Now, though, Dalglish is prepared to offer the Bundesliga side cash for the 24-year-old Netherlands international.
Elia is said to be keen on the potential move. He is valued at £13 million, according to TransferMarkt.
