It won't be easy. They face the Vancouver Canucks, who won the Presidents' Trophy for the league's best record in the regular season and led the NHL in virtually every key statistical category. But there's been nothing easy about the Bruins' run to the final, and they've overcome every obstacle they've faced so far.
The Bruins survived an epic first-round series with the Canadiens that required an overtime win in Game 7. Then they avenged last year's second-round collapse by sweeping Philadelphia in the rematch, followed by another seven-game marathon against Tampa Bay. That one ended with another nail-biter at the Garden in Game 7 on Friday, with Nathan Horton's late goal the only score of the night as Boston pulled out a dramatic 1-0 win.
So what can we expect from this club now that it's back in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1990? How do the Bruins match up with the Canucks? What will be the keys to beating Vancouver?
NESN.com Bruins reporter Douglas Flynn is here to answer those and any other questions you may have about the team as it looks to bring the Cup back to Boston for the first time since 1972.
