Tune in to White Sox-Red Sox on NESN, Beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Boston Red Sox are returning home with a new spot in the standings: First place. It's a position they fought to achieve after a slow start, and it's one they'll not want to give up for the rest of the year.

Their defense of first continues Monday night, when they host the Chicago White Sox for the first of a three-game set at the Fens. Jon Lester takes the ball for Boston, opposed by Jake Peavy for Chicago. NESN's pregame coverage begins at 5:30 p.m. with Monster Monday, leading up to first pitch just after 7 p.m.
