Andrew Miller Enjoys Fenway Park Experience, Pitching to Jason Varitek, Despite Receiving No-Decision in Red Sox Win

Andrew Miller was cruising along for the Red Sox until the sixth inning, when he gave up a three-run home run to Orlando Hudson that tied the game at the time. But while Miller would end up being removed that inning, he still showed some promise throughout his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Miller certainly would have liked to have picked up the win in his first start with the Sox, but the team still came away with a 14-5 blowout thanks to a 10-run seventh inning.

The 26-year-old left-hander said he had a blast pitching at Fenway as a member of the Red Sox. He admitted that his rocky sixth inning brought him down to earth a little bit, he was still pleased with his ability to throw his fastball and breaking ball for strikes.

To hear what else Miller had to say about his start on Monday, as well as his maturation process since joining the Red Sox organization, check out the video above.
