Bruins Showered With Praise by Peers at NHL Awards in Las Vegas

The Bruins left their mark on the hockey world this season. Tim Thomas was incredible all season long. Zdeno Chara's leadership helped steady the ship. And in the end, the B's hoisted the Stanley Cup for the first time in almost 40 years.

On Wednesday night, both Thomas and Chara were rewarded for their work on the ice (and in Chara's case, off the ice as well) at the NHL awards ceremony. The B's weren't just rewarded with hardware, though, as many of those in attendance had plenty of praise for Thomas, Chara and the rest of the Bruins.

See the video above to hear more from players past and present like Martin St. Louis, Steven Stamkos and Mark Messier.
