Bruins Turn In Another Poor Performance in Third Period That Ends Up Costing Them Game 2

The Bruins played another poor third period in Game 2 on Saturday, much like they did in Game 1 on Wednesday. And in the end, the B's came away with the same result in both games — a loss.

NESN's Andy Brickley spoke about what he saw from the Bruins in a Game 2 overtime loss to the Canucks, and he said that another lackluster third period ended up costing the B's again. After the Bruins built a 2-1 lead with a good, strong second period, they once again collapsed in the third and now face an 0-2 hole in the series.

Brick added that the Bruins once again got away from their skating game, and they were a little bit too conservative. Add that up, and it was the recipe for disaster in what could turn out to be a disastrous loss.
