Though he grew up in Queens, N.Y., one borough South of Yankee Stadium, Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC has always been a Red Sox fan.
In a video for MLB.com's Fan Cave, McDaniels explains his allegiance to Red Sox Nation.
"The Boston Red Sox rock," McDaniels proudly proclaims. "You know they got that hip-hop, rock n' roll feeling. My team is the Boston Red Sox because they rock."
McDaniels added that his two favorite players, David Ortiz and Josh Beckett, add to his support of the Sox.
"I love Big Papi. Not only is he a great player, but he also is down with Josh Beckett, two of my favorite players ever."
