David Ortiz has been on a tear for the Red Sox this season. But when he hasn't been feasting on opposing pitchers, he's been keeping an eye on what's going on with the Boston Bruins.

Sporting a Bruins Eastern Conference Champions hat, Ortiz said after the Red Sox' 14-1 on Sunday that he likes the Bruins' chances in their upcoming Game 6 against the Canucks.

When it comes to Game 7, David Ortiz brought out a slogan that might sound familiar to fans of the 2004 Red Sox World Series-winning team.

"Why not," he said of the Bruins winning in Vancouver for the first time in the series.

The 2004 Red Sox asked that same question throughout their World Series run, frequently donning shirts that read, "Why not us?"

If the Bruins are able to win Game 6 in Boston on Monday, they'll travel to Vancouver for a decisive Game 7 on Wednesday.
