Eric Byrnes Lays Out Harold Reynolds on MLB Network Set (Video)

In baseball, there’s seldom any contact between players.

In TV shows that are designed to analyze baseball, there tends to be even less.

All of those probabilities go out the window when former outfielder Eric Byrnes gets involved.

Byrnes and Harold Reynolds appeared on MLB Network to discuss a play from Monday’s Cubs-Rockies game, in which Chicago’s Koyie Hill did not get out of the way as Colorado’s left fielder tried to chase down a foul ball near the Cubs’ bullpen.

Byrnes then imitated how he’d react in that situation, showing no more mercy to Reynolds than he did any outfield wall during his playing days.
