Experts said George W. Bush won two presidential elections, in part, because voters felt he was the candidate they'd most like to have a beer with.

The former president showed his supposed fun side by donning sunglasses at Tuesday's Texas Rangers game, where the fans in attendance set a world record for the most people wearing sunglasses in the dark.

"The Decider," sitting with Rangers team president Nolan Ryan, was one of more than 30,000 fans estimated to have taken part in the stunt. Although most of the 33,533 in attendance wore sunglasses, Fox News reports that only 424 people were counted because the previous record was 423.

It was not clear if Bush, who played baseball at Phillips Andover and owned a stake in the Rangers before becoming governor of Texas, was among the group that was counted.

Since leaving the presidency, Bush has repeatedly expressed his desire to "stay out of the limelight." Aside from his frequent appearances at Rangers games, he has held true to his word.

Should he ever find himself in the limelight, though, he now has a cool set of shades to cut down on the glare.
