Jacoby Ellsbury Can’t Explain Red Sox Success Against Yankees, But Knows Their Games Are Always Draining

While the Bruins were taking care of business at the TD Garden on Wednesday, the Red Sox were taking care of business in the Bronx, defeating the Yankees 11-6 — their seventh victory in eight games against the Bronx Bombers this season.

After the game, Jacoby Ellsbury said he wasn't sure why the Sox have had so much success against the Yankees this season. He did praise the effort of starter Tim Wakefield, though, and said that it would be nice to secure a sweep before heading to Toronto on Thursday.
