With trades happening left and right, one has to wonder how secure Kemba Walker feels.
The University of Connecticut point guard was drafted ninth overall by the Charlotte Bobcats, who were at the center of one of the largest draft day trades of the night.
Before drafting Walker with their second lottery pick, the Bobcats grabbed Congo native Bismack Biyombo at No.7, a pick they received in a trade with the Sacramento Kings. The duo of Walker and Biyombo gives owner Michael Jordan and new general manager Rich Cho some young pieces to build around.
Charlotte is expected to keep Walker, possibly making point guard D.J. Augustin available.
Walker was the third point guard selected, after Kentucky's Brandon Knight went eighth to Detroit and Duke's Kyrie Irving went first overall to the Cavaliers. Walker is just 2 1/2 months removed from leading the Huskies to the national championship.
