Celtics top assistant coach Lawrence Frank has been linked to multiple coaching positions for next season, but the latest could have him hitting the Big Apple to coach alongside Mike D'Antoni.

The defensive-minded Frank is "high on the list" of assistant coaches that the New York Knicks are targeting, according to Newsday reporter Alan Hahn's Twitter.

As reported by the New York Post earlier this month, D'Antoni admitted that he could be looking for a defensive-minded coach after years of feeling that one would be an affront. All of the Knicks assistant coaches' contracts expire June 30 — the same day as Frank's.
