Liverpool FC has been a force in the English Premier League for years, and they hope to continue that legacy of success with the help of their up-and-coming talent.

On Saturday night, one of the Reds' young stars, Brad Smith, played the full 90 minutes for England in their FIFA U17 World Cup matchup against Uruguay. The English won the match, 2-0.

Smith was not the only Liverpool Academy player that saw time on the pitch. He was joined in the 71st minute by Jack Dunn.

England's U17 squad also features Liverpool youths Raheem Sterling, Matty Regan, Adam Morgan and Tyrell Belford.

With young stars potentially making an impact on such a grand stage, the Reds have a lot to look forward to in the future.
