Mavericks’ DeShawn Stevenson Celebrates NBA Championship With Public Intoxication Arrest

DeShawn Stevenson aimlessly wandering around drunk Tuesday night in Texas should not surprise anyone. After all, he did aimlessly wander his way to an NBA championship.

Despite starting 18 of 21 games in the 2011 playoffs, Stevenson averaged just 4.4 points per game and 15 minutes. Stevenson does, however, have a knack for making headlines in other ways.

Tuesday night, the Mavericks guard added to his list of off-court actions by getting arrested for public intoxication, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Stevenson, who has a tattoo of Abraham Lincoln on his Adam's apple, was involved in a scandal with a 14-year-old, and started a fight in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, isn't exactly the face of a franchise.

Stevenson becomes a free agent this summer.
