The fans who were displaced at Super Bowl XLV are still standing up for being unable to sit down.
According to ESPN.com, the ticket holders who were displaced at this year's Super Bowl in Dallas are now seeking compensation for lost income.
Shortly before the game began 1,250 seats were declared unsafe. Almost 500 of those fans were relocated to standing room locations.
The NFL tried to get the suit dismissed after noting that they they satisfied obligations by covering the cost of the ticket and any documented lodging, travel and meal expenses.
The filing by the ticket holders also questioned the NFL on its lack of documentation proving that they reimbursed the ticket holders and for putting a cap on the amount of compensation awarded for lodging and food.
The filing also claims that the NFL and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones knew well before the game that the seats were unsafe.
"Defendants instead threw a `Hail Mary pass' and hoped, by some miracle, the problems would somehow solve themselves and legitimate seats would magically appear," the filing said.
