The New England Revolution will be without midfielder Marko Perovic for the rest of the 2011 season, as the 27-year old underwent season-ending knee surgery Friday, according to the New England Revolution.

Perovic suffered an injury in a match with Sporting Kansas City on April 23 that aggravated a preexisting condition with the knee.

Perovic recorded one goal and one assist in four appearances this season and is expected to make a full recovery and return to soccer participation in six to nine months.
