After some speculation that the Celtics would take Boston College guard Reggie Jackson with the No. 25 pick in the 2011 NBA draft, Jackson was selected one pick too soon.

The Oklahoma City Thunder added a young scorer to their backcourt in Jackson to go along with Russell Westbrook, Eric Maynor, Thabo Sefolosha and James Harden. Jackson received some buzz prior to the draft for not working out for any teams, causing speculation that the Thunder had guaranteed that they would pick him very early on.

Jackson, 6-foot-3, averaged 18.2 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game and shot 50.3 percent from the field and 42 percent from 3-point range in the 2010-11 season for the Eagles.

Jackson was Oklahoma City's only pick in the draft.
