The Pittsburgh Steelers did not win Super Bowl XLV, but hey, at least star wide receiver Hines Ward won ABC’s Dancing with the Stars competition.

In honor of his tremendous victory, the Steel City has decided to hold a rally at noon on Thursday for Ward and dance partner Kym Johnson, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“City residents and the Steelers Nation have contacted my office asking for the city to properly thank our hometown hero for once-again shining the spotlight on Pittsburgh,” said mayor Luke Ravenstahl.

Of course, no Steeler celebration would be complete without the presence of thousands of Terrible Towels. Fans are also encouraged to wear black and yellow.

And for those more adventurous folk, two-minute videos of themselves and a partner dancing can be submitted to YouTube. City officials will then pick five videos to post on their Facebook page, and the contestants of the three videos with the most “Likes” by 11 a.m. on Thursday will be invited to compete in a dance-off, which will be judged by Ward, Johnson and Ravenstahl.

The two winners of the competition will receive an autographed Hines Ward jersey.
