Plaxico Burress Would Be Welcomed Back By Giants Before Tiki Barber, Eli Manning Says One was recently released from prison. The other cheated on his wife and made himself out to be an all-around bad guy.

If it were up to Eli Manning, the New York Giants would bring back the jailbird before the bridge-burner.

Dan Patrick asked the quarterback on his radio show Monday which player the team would welcome back if wide receiver Plaxico Burress, recently released from prison on a gun conviction, or running back Tiki Barber, shunned by many in the NFL for his stint as an outspoken and negative TV analyst. Manning said it was Burress.

"He probably has fonder memories, winning a Super Bowl," Manning said on the Dan Patrick Show. "Tiki just ended on a bad note. It's really a shame. He should be remembered as a great Giants running back and a terrific player, because he was. But the way he went out, he burned a few bridges."

The Giants have not expressed interest in either player.
