Rajon Rondo added his name to the growing list of basketball star-endorsed shoes.
The Celtics point guard posted a video of him endorsing Nike's new Zoom Hyperfuse shoe on his Facebook fan page. In the video, Rondo said the shoe helps prevent ankle injuries, which is important given the way Rondo plays — with plenty of cuts and direction changes.
Leo Chang, the shoe's designer, said the shoe is lightweight, stable and breathable. Chang also said they took athletes' input when designing the shoe.
