The Bruins will be without forward Nathan Horton for the rest of the season.

The same can be said for the Canucks’ Aaron Rome, as the defenseman will miss the rest of the Stanley Cup Final for his blind-side hit on Nathan Horton in Game 3 at the TD Garden, according to the NHL.

“Two factors were considered in reaching this decision,” NHL senior vice president of hockey operations Mike Murphy told NHL.com.  “The hit by Rome was clearly beyond what is acceptable in terms of how late it was delivered after Horton had released the puck and it caused a significant injury.”
