UPDATE 10:16am: The Bruins parade will be this Saturday, June 18, starting at 11:00 am.

The Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup on Wednesday night, and the first words out of every New Englander’s mouth was, “I can’t believe it.”

The second thing they said was, “When’s the parade?”

The answer? We don’t know yet.

The Boston Globe reports that Bruins officials and members of Boston mayor Tom Menino‘s office will meet on Thursday to determine when the victory parade will be held. It will either be Friday or Saturday.

A deterrent on Friday will be the weather forecast, which calls for occasional showers throughout the day. On Saturday, though, the Red Sox host a game at Fenway Park at 1 p.m., which presents logistics issues.
