Report: Ron Artest to Play Basketball in Finland

After a name change, Ron Artest, soon to be "Metta World Peace," could now reportedly be changing teams.

CBSSports.com reported, through sources BallinEurope (a European basketball website) and a Finnish newspaper, that Artest will be taking his talents to Finland to play for LoKoKo Loimaa of the Korisliiga league.

The deal could be lockout contingent, given that Artest still has three years left on his deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, the report claims that Artest will only appear in a few games. Whether or not that makes the deal more possible remains to be seen.

It also remains to be seen whether this is all true. But judging by Artest's past odd-ball stunts, it is not altogether that shocking.
