Terry Francona Says He’s ‘Thinking About’ Putting Adrian Gonzalez in Outfield on Wednesday

It's starting to sound more and more like Red Sox manager Terry Francona is ready to put Adrian Gonzalez in the outfield in order to get David Ortiz back in the lineup.

Reports surfaced prior to Tuesday's 5-0 loss to the Phillies that Gonzalez would be in the outfield on Wednesday and Ortiz would be at first, and NESN's Heidi Watney asked Francona about that on Tuesday night.

"Still wrestling with it. I need to think about it," he said. "I definitely want to get David in there, and the only way to do that is to play Gonzie in right. I'll think about it a little more, but I'm thinking about it for [Wednesday]."
