The Bruins could not have won the Stanley Cup without Tim Thomas. After Thomas won his second Vezina Trophy on Wednesday night, Thomas made it clear that he couldn't have done what he did this season without the help of many.
Naoko Funayama spoke with the goalie just after he was named the Vezina winner at the NHL awards show in Las Vegas, and Thomas talked about what the award mean to him.
"It's immensely important," he said of the support he's gotten all year long from those closest to him. "Even through this year, I've had a group of friends supporting me, and they're in a way, a bunch of mini coaches."
See the video above for more from Thomas, including what he'll try to do to ensure an encore next season.
