Tim Thomas Should Earn Second Vezina Trophy, While Zdeno Chara May Fall Short in Norris Voting LAS VEGAS — The only trophy that really matters has already been awarded, with the Bruins hoisting the Stanley Cup last week in Vancouver.

But even in the ultimate team game, there is room to recognize individual achievements. And the NHL's best and brightest have gathered in Las Vegas to do just that at the 2011 NHL Awards on Wednesday.

Most of those awards are decided on by a vote of members of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association, which I have belonged to since 2000. Here's a rundown of the trophies that will be handed out on Wednesday night, along with how I voted this year and who is most likely to come away with the hardware.
