Andrew Miller Battles Through Giving Up 10 Hits, Pleased Red Sox Able to Come Away With Win Over White Sox

Andrew Miller wasn't exactly lights out for the Red Sox against the White Sox on Sunday, but he did improve upon his last start and gave the Red Sox a chance to win.

Miller allowed three runs on 10 hits through 5 2/3 innings. He struck out eight and walked one, while receiving a no-decision.

Miller said he gave up a lot more hits than he would have liked to on Sunday, but he said that he battled and that most of the hits he allowed were broken bats and bloop hits.

The start is a stark contrast to Miller's last start on Tuesday, when he gave up seven runs (five earned) in 3 2/3 innings against the Royals.
